![]() I've informed DAZ support that LuxMark 3.1 runs perfectly on my machine and confirms openCL v2.1 compatibility but they still stick to their "AMD have probably dropped support for openCL" line, in spite of the evidence (including screenshots) to the contrary.Īlthough their response claimed that they were investigating the issue I fear that the only outcome will be a statement somewhere advising DAZ studio users to be "wary of using certain AMD cards". ![]() Having spent the last couple of months sending (and resending) log files and screenshots to DAZ support I can confirm that they are aware of the issue but have put it down to AMD having probably dropped support for openCL on 6000 series GPUs.ĭespite knowing about the issue for at least six months they don't seem to have contacted AMD to confirm this or get a workaround although apparently they have tested some three year old AMD graphics drivers that worked. Since your AMD Driver is properly installed and working than the issue is compatibility with Daz Studio and your RX6600 GPU card. I read that Daz Studio is optimized for Nvidia GPU Cards which could be your issue and the above thread seems to verify that. One of the Users mentioned you have to install a 3rd party Opencl to make it work with AMD GPU Cards and Daz Studio: įound this Reddit Thread concerning the exact same issue you are having with Daz Studio. Which version of Windows OS do you have currently installed? So the problem is either the latest AMD Driver or AMD latest GPU cards is not compatible with Daz Studio. ![]() Yes it is enabled for OpenCL plus it has check marked all the other applicable APIs for your AMD GPU card which indicates the AMD Driver is installed correctly.
